Students participate in a variety of state and local assessments designed to measure academic progress.  

NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Testing

• Formative assessment chosen by the school to provide acheivement and growth data in reading, language, and math
• Taken by Kindergarten - 8th grade students three times a year
• Provides real-time data to guide instructional planning and teaching decisions

IREAD-3

• State-mandated reading test given to 3rd grde students in the spring
• This test measures foundational reading skills necessary as students progress into 4th grade

• State mandated test given to students in grades 3-8 in the spring
• Replaced the ISTEP+ test 
• Math and reading as assessed each year and a science and social studies are rotated
